A Southern French Red Pleasant with a Cooked Beef Hash

We had some leftover roast beef to use up and decided to do “All-in-one Hash” from the Good Food Channel   An enjoyable but not a strongly-flavoured recipe, so we thought a bottle of Wines From France Côtes du Rhône Villages 2010 from Tesco would be good.  A classic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, this full-bodied Southern French red was peppery and plummy and was pleasant with the hash.
