We finished off the gorgeous Hyderabadi Lamb Shanks from Friday (see 28th October). Reheating the sauce made it even more rich and full of intense spicy flavours. We therefore decided to pair the meal with a richer wine. We opened a bottle of Baron de Ley Rioja Reserva 2006, a Spanish red from Costco and were pleased that we did. Ripe dark fruits, smooth, intense spiciness and powerful black cherry notes coming through on the finish. We thoroughly recommend this recipe and would love to eat at Tamarind and try some of Alfred Prasad’s food first hand.
