Aussie Chardonnay/Viognier Good with an Indian Takeaway

We had takeaway curry dishes tonight and decided to open a bottle of McGuigan Chardonnay Viognier 2009 an Australian white from Tesco.  Its smoothness went well with both curries.  We found the blend of the two grapes just right.  There are peach flavours and a bit of a tang from the Viognier, with tropical fruits and a touch of oak & vanilla from the Chardonnay.
