A Smooth Spanish Red is Great with Lamb Chops

We had Lamb Chops and paired them with a bottle of La Cantera Reserva 2001 from Sunday Times Wine Club.   This is a Garnacha-based blend from Cariñena in Spain.  It is medium-bodied with plummy, black cherry flavours and smooth.  Like many Spanish reds it very well with the lamb.
