We cooked Murgh Tandoori (Tandoori Chicken) from Supercook. The chicken was moist, highly-spiced and melt-in-the mouth. Delicious. Some say a Bordeaux Blanc is a good match, but we didn’t have any. Instead, we opened a bottle of Homestead Sauvignon Blanc 2008 from the Sunday Times Wine Club, which is a cool climate Aussie white from Victoria. Sunday Times describe the wine as a pure explosion of fresh passion fruit, gooseberry and lime, all wrapped up in classic minerally elegance. We weren’t sure about the match at the first taste, but it steadily improved and became a worthy partner to the dish.
