We had homemade Beefburgers with Dill for a midweek meal. This is a Supercook recipe that has a creamy, paprika sauce. We were a bit wary of over-powering this dish with a big red so we tried another bottle of Costières de Nîmes 2009 from Tesco We have previously found this medium-bodied red from Tesco works very well with lighter flavoured dishes such as this. We were pleased with the result. The wine’s savoury flavours complemented the burgers without swamping them.
