Had a lovely Beef Lasagne from Delia’s Complete Cookery Course and paired it with a bottle of Colucci Copertino Riserva 2005, a Puglian wine from Sunday Times Wine Club. This Italian red comprises 95% Negroamaro and 5% Malvasia Nera. Generous black fruits and an underlying earthiness. Ideal with the lasagne and there was a good affinity between the smooth ripeness of the wine and the tangy savoury flavours of the food.
