We had visitors round for a meal and cooked Bogracs Gulyas, which is a Hungarian Goulasch recipe from Supercook. I had seen some suggestions that Garnacha is a good match. We tried Oromonte Garnacha 2008 from the Sunday Times Wine Club, which was a reasonably good match, but not outstanding. The wine is from Valdepeñas in Spain. This smooth, fruity, rich wine would probably have gone better with a weightier casserole or stew.
