We had a bottle of Maurel Vedeau Sauvignon Blanc/Grenache 2008 from Tesco in the cupboard and it was time to drink it before it went past its best. After some research, we decided to pair it with Hot-Hot Prawn and Potato Curry from Levi Roots, Caribbean Food Made Easy. The curry included garlic, ginger, red chilli, coriander leaves and chopped tomatoes. The wine is described as a crisp, grassy, citrus and apple dry white. A very good match.
