Another Fruity Aussie Cabernet with Greek Lamb

We had the remainder of Jamie’s Lamb Fricassee from 17th September, but this time with crusty bread.  We decided to try another Aussie Cabernet Sauvignon, namely Kelly Country 2009 from Sunday Times Wine Club.  We actually enjoyed this with the dish more than the Wolfblass Yellow Label that we paired it with previously.  Kelly Country was smooth and rounded, had more blackcurrant fruit on offer and worked very well with this dish.
